7:15-8:30 “State of the Movement” Brief speeches by representatives from the past decade of
the campus divestment movement: University of California, Berkeley (2001-2002); Stanford
University (2007) and Georgetown; and Hampshire College (2007-2009)
8:30-8:45 Closing & Logistics
9:15–11:15 PM Film Screening: "Forgiveness" by Udi Aloni; Transportation back to sleeping
arrangements

9:00 AM -11:30 AM Divestment Walkthrough
This will include: breaking down by type and size of institution; examining steps for running a
campus campaign; framing your campaign to on and off campus media; exploring various
school structures and working with the trustees and administration; strategies for talking to your
own campus and opposition about BDS; evaluating levels of support, sympathy, and opposition;
different types of divestment campaigns; and more.
11:30 AM - 12:15 PM Working Lunch
A spot will be provided for groups to speak about their campus and campaign for 3-5 Minutes.
This way we will become familiar with the faces and actions of the national BDS movement.

Walk around and generally network and discuss issues with other conference participants or just
have a relaxing lunch.
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Future of the movement session
This will consist of small breakouts and a general assembly to decide the outcome of the
conference and future networking and strategies of the gathered groups. We will discuss and
make a decision regarding how we will make the movement stronger and more coordinated
from our experience and time at this conference.
